Business Driven Action Learning 商务驱动的行动学习

What is Business Driven Action Learning (BDAL)
BDAL is a form of learning by doing. BDAL is a process for bringing together a group of executives with varied levels of responsibilities, skills and experience to analyze an actual work problem and develop an action plan.

Objectives of BDAL

  • A positive impact on the company business
  • The personal development of participants
  • The application of key learnings to other businesses within the company

Learning Methods of BDAL

  • Traditional methods (lectures and cases)
  • Individual learning (learning journals, self evaluation, coaching etc);
  • Consulting methods (interviewing, presenting; communicating, implementing researching, analyzing);
  • Benchmarking and best practices (best practice visits, competency analysis, experiential learning and gap analysis);
  • Team-based learning (presentation, coaching);
  • Information technology (knowledge management, groupware, distributed learning, simulation, video conferencing).

What we do
Universal Ideas provides BDAL facilitation services to its corporate clients and also shares in the coordination of selected services with other global BDAL providers.

An initial assessment helps to formulate the business challenge to be explored and ensure sponsorship and a confidence level from senior leadership within the organization. A detailed program proposal including timetable and outputs is designed to facilitate the varying logistics constraints of all parties concerned.
