All students can be successful language and culture learners. We understand that “there is no single correct way to teach or to learn”. However, we believe that it is necessary to provide students with opportunities to learn in a wide variety of ways, including but not limited to working individually and collaboratively, independently and with teacher assistance, as well as engaging in hands-on activities and the study of examples followed by practice. We ensure small class sizes of no more than six students per teacher. Therefore, instructors should make use of learner-centered approaches to language instruction and customize their approaches based on the students’ specific needs, abilities and learning styles.
